Volunteer for the 2020 Fiesta 5k Ole

Hey Seattle! We're throwing Seattle's LARGEST outdoor Cinco De Mayo party and you're invited! Not only are you invited, but we're bringing some friends to the party. We're excited to partner with MOViN 92.5, Warm106.9 and 98.9 The Bull to throw Seattle's largest and original annual 5K fun run and food truck festival, the 2020 Fiesta 5K Ole & Food Truck Festival, taking place on Saturday, May 2 at Volunteer Park in Cap Hill!

Starting and finishing at Seattle's Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill, 5K Run/Walk participants will run, walk, and salsa through the scenic Capitol Hill neighborhood before being greeted with a post-run fiesta like none other! After participating in the ¡Fiesta 5K Olé!, celebrate Cinco De Mayo with friends at the food truck festival - featuring 20 food/taco trucks, live music all day, beer and margaritas - everyone is encouraged to enjoy the festivities. You won't want to miss Seattle's #1 Cinco De Mayo party, partnering with Seattle's #1 radio station, MOViN 92.5!

All participants will receive:

  • FINISHER MEDALS FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS!
  • FREE entry into the ¡Fiesta 5K Olé! & Food Truck Festival Beer Garden & Concert (21+)*
  • One (1) drink included with race registration (21+)
Road Runner Sports - Green Lake Date: Friday, May 2 Time: 1:45pm-8:00pm The ¡Fiesta 5K Olé! will offer all participants the option to pick up their necessary materials early to avoid the rush on event day. Pre-Race Packet Pickup volunteers will provide participants their necessary race materials including their race bib, shirt and extra. If interested, we will also provide packet pickup volunteers with a free race entry for the event on Saturday!
Race Day Volunteers
Saturday, May 2 Volunteer Park, Seattle All volunteers will receive an event shirt, free entry into the post-run beer garden and their first drink on us. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for other shifts as well. If registering for more than one shift, we will provide lunch as well.
Volunteer Park Saturday, May 2 7:15am – 9:45am Registration & Packet pickup volunteers will help assist participants collect their necessary materials for the run including timing chip, bib, shirt and beer ticket! All race day volunteers will receive an event shirt and free entry into the post-run beer/margarita garden along with two drinks (21 and over only) after their shift.
Volunteer Park Saturday, May 2 8:15am-11:00am Along a 5K course there are critical places that volunteers are needed to either help direct runners the proper direction to travel, hold vehicular traffic from entering the race course or just need a little cheering to help the participant continue! All race day volunteers will receive an event shirt and free entry into the post-run beer/margarita garden along with two drinks (21 and over only) after their shift.
Volunteer Park Saturday, May 2 8:00am-11:00am Finish line volunteers will help set up a safe start/finish line of the race. They will also help with post-run food/beverage distribution including providing participants with water, bananas and bagels after the event. All race day volunteers will receive an event shirt and free entry into the post-run beer/margarita garden along with two drinks (21 and over only) after their shift.
Volunteer Park Saturday, May 2 8:30am-12:30pm Volunteers are needed to pour drinks for attendees. Volunteers will pour drinks (beer & spirits) and collect fees. All shift 1 volunteers will receive two drinks and an event shirt after their. shift.
