As the completion of the West Seattle Bridge maintenance project nears an end and the West Seattle Community is once again reunited with Seattle, the West Seattle Neighborhoods, Seattle DOT, partners, sponsors and more invite you to celebrate with us!

REUNITED will be a weekend full of festivities.

Kicking off the festivities will be the West Seattle Bridge Run Saturday morning. Following this, we'll be offering multiple events throughout the day including a ribbon cutting ceremony, free bridge walk, community celebration, live music and more. Sunday, the festivities continue with the Bridge Ride, a community bike ride across the bridge and throughout West Seattle. on the viaduct! After construction is completed, there will be a window of time that construction equipment is cleared off the bridge and final touches are made before vehicles will be allowed back on. During this time is when we'll hold this weekend of festivities. Our celebration WILL NOT postpone the re-opening of the West Seattle Bridge for a single minute as we know the most important celebration is allowing vehicles to cross.
